We’ve developed a modern app highlighting nearby exercise spots in Polish cities to inspire Gen-Z to embrace the outdoors. Additionally, we’ve launched social campaigns to promote physical activity and successfully secured sponsors to support our initiative.
My responsibilities
I began my journey as a co-founder of this project. I swiftly took on the role of lead graphic designer. My work focused on creating illustrations, social media campaigns, designing the Waggle.pl logo, and shaping the broader Waggle.pl brand. The brand look we achieved played a surprisingly important role in our path to success.

Design impact
Waggle.pl Brand Identity: I developed a visual language that conveyed energy and movement, highlighting how a strong brand look drives product success.
Illustrations for Storytelling: I created custom illustrations for social campaigns and the website.
Social Campaigns: Managed social media campaigns that promoted physical activity, built awareness, and strengthened the platform’s social connection.
UI Design: I focused on creating an interface that was simple and intuitive, prioritizing an Information Architecture that made finding nearby exercise spots effortless.




The finale
Even though the project was done during the uncertain times of the COVID lockdown, we still earned first place in the “technology project” category. Because the Zwolnieni z Teorii contest happened during the pandemic, it was an online stream. Usually, the finals are held as a big conference, with even government officials attending.
Results
1. Contest Victory & External Validation: The project earned first place in the demanding “technology project” category of the Zwolnieni z Teorii contest. This accomplishment underscored the project’s innovation and execution quality.
2. Financial Stability & Sponsorship: We successfully secured sponsors to support our initiative. The strong, professional, and visually compelling brand identity was critical in attracting financial support, as a clear brand look helps make a startup more distinct and memorable to potential investors or partners.
